The Wolfcry web site has been removed. This was the very first speedway club web site in the world. Taking it down was not a decision that I took lightly and I sympathise with anyone who is inconvenienced or troubled by it's demise, but I do not apologise.

Over the years this site, the forum, and the authors have been subjected to suspicion, to criticism, to abject rudeness and to abuse from the promotion. Finally we have been called cowards, then asked to break the law by releasing the personal details of the 1000+ Wolfcry members, and when we explained why we would not do this, we were told that our decision was 'frankly absurd'. These final messages from Mr Van Straaten were completely unacceptable and disturbing and have led to my action - I have had enough!

The money raised this year through the Wolfcry Sponsorship Club, well over £3,000, has been handed to the riders as promised, but there will be no further fundraising. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the fund.

The Fans' Forum will continue - there is a link to it below. It will be completely independent of the speedway club.

Despite the above, I am still proud to be a supporter of the riders of Wolverhampton Speedway.
